City Helicopters has been in business for 20 years; 3 years
at Felts Field in Spokane, Washington; 13 years based at
the Coeur d'Alene Airport; and 6 years at our present address
in Post Falls, Idaho. We are certified with the Federal Aviation
Administration as a Part 135 Air Carrier Operation and also
have certificates Part 133 (External Load perations) and
Part 137 (Commercial Agriculture). We are operating 7 helicopters
now, 1 Bell 212, 1 Bell Super 205 A1-TT,1 Bell 206B III,
1 Super Bell UH-1H, 2 A-Star 350 B2 + BA, and 1 Hiller 12E.
We specialize in precision external load operations; fire
fighting; aerial construction heavy lift projects; helicopter
logging; charter; motion picture support, including aerial
cinematography; and video. |
| INSURANCE |
River
City Helicopters has a full coverage hull and liability insurance
policy with John F. Throne Co. in Seattle, Washington. Our liability
insurance has a five-million dollar limit with a five-hundred
thousand dollar limit per passenger which exceeds the United
States government requirements.
River City Helicopters has no FAA violations
on record and has an excellent working relationship with all
of its contractors. |
| EQUIPMENT |
| River
City Helicopters operates the following helicopters: 2 A-Stars
350 BA + B2, 1 Bell 206BIII, Bell Super 205, 1 Super Bell
UH- 1H, 1 Bell 212, and 1 Hiller 12E. We have 6 fuel/service
trucks with cellular phones and King FM Radios (500 - 4500
gallon capacity), one 300 gallon service trailer, several
extra bambi water buckets and backup remote hooks and long-lines.
All of our equipment is in excellent condition. |

| PILOTS |
| Most of
our pilots flew in Vietnam and have thousands of hours of flight
time. They are all certified with the U.S. Forest Service and
Office of Aircraft Services for reconnaissance and surveillance,
mountain flying, external load operations, fire suppression,
retardant / water dropping, aerial ignition, heli-torch and
sphere dispenser, animal herding, snow operations, and long
line qualified. |
| MAINTENANCE |
| In our
maintenance section there are 7 FAA certified and licensed
airframe and powerplant mechanics, 3 with an inspection authorization
rating. |
| DRUG
& ALCOHOL AWARENESS |
| River
City Helicopters has in place a drug and alcohol program registered
and FAA approved with Western Aeromedical. We have a perfect
100% approval rate with no positive tests. |

Federal government certified - office of aircraft services and
united states forest service helicopter pilot qualified, reconnaissance
